Basketball Boys & Girls Travel Teams, 2023/24 (Grades 4-8) • Register • View Cart •

Description: Tyngsborough basketball travel teams are planned for boys and girls grades 4-8 (3rd graders are welcome to tryout for the 4th grade team). All registered youth, subject to the rules of the travel leagues, are eligible to tryout for a travel team. These more competitive travel teams require an added time commitment (2 practices/week + game days) and additional fees. Players do not have to attend TPS but League rules require residency to participate. (Some exceptions apply with League approval.)

Tryout Cost: FREE (advance registration is required, below)
** October, 2023 tryouts times/dates will be emailed to all registered participants. **

Season Cost: $265 first player ($190 second player; $140 each additional player plus uniform and some tournament fees.)


Easy 2-Step registration process (PLEASE READ THIS):

Step 1: Log-in/create an account, then sign-up below for tryouts. Be sure to continue all-the-way thru the payment portal (balance will be $0). You will receive an instant email confirmation upon completion. 

Step 2: After tryouts, if your athlete was selected to join a travel team, complete the official registration/payment section on this website and confirm all forms/waivers are agreed upon during check-out and/or passed-in to the Tyngsborough Recreation Department BEFORE the first practice. Please register ASAP so not to burden the coach with this part.


Add-On BONUS (In-Town League): More court time! Participation in the In-Town League is encouraged and included with your travel team registration fee. Any accepted travel team player whom had registered, and paid for, the travel program has the option to register, at no additional cost, for the In-Town league in the appropriate "TRAVEL ADD-ON" section of thein-town league registration page.In-Town League games are scheduled on different days than Travel Team games to avoid conflicts. If a travel team player does not register for the in-town program, they will NOT be added to the league roster.

Zero Tolerance Policy
If registration is not completed electronically, download/complete all applicable code of conduct form(s), print/scan, and send as an attachment to apage@tyngsboroughma.gov or return hard copies to Tyngsborough Recreation Department located at 25 Bryant Lane, Tyngsborough, MA 01879. All players, families and coaches are required to have the documents on file with the Department.
